I am publishing a timestamped snapshot, not a live chart. Steam’s GetNumberOfCurrentPlayers for demo app 5401090 returned 5,509 at 03:53 UTC on 27 October 2026. The demo store page the same morning showed 808 reviews, 98% positive. The full game page said no user reviews.
outputlag’s 26 October article, which says it samples Steam’s public API each hour, put the Next Fest peak at 9,598 and fourth among that festival’s demos. Quote them for the peak. Do not relabel it as a temkosoft statistic.
Wishlists are someone else’s scrape
SteamData.AI listed about 80,500 wishlists and 4,700 followers, with a wishlist-rank note around 39th (best 21) and a most-wanted rank around 203 (best 71). We did not get those fields from Steam’s own store API. SteamDB was blocked when the research ran, so this page does not cite SteamDB figures.
Wishlists are not players. A wishlist does not mean someone is in a match. After 4 November 2026 the number that answers “how many are playing” is the current-player API for app 5037200, sampled with a clock time beside it.
Why the all-time chart is empty
The full game is not out. SteamCharts returned no history for it. There is nothing honest to draw a curve through. Filling that gap with a fake sparkline would be worse than an empty state.
When the game unlocks, check the official player API and, if SteamCharts creates a page, link that page. Until then the demo row above is the only concurrent count we have logged. Pair it with the demo status so a dead install button is not hiding under an old player number.
