Which itch matches which game
For six-a-side courts and manual cursor aiming, just volleyball advertises 1v1 through 6v6 with online and offline play. The Spike Cross instead describes story-led 3v3 matches in which you control one player. That court size does not establish six simultaneous human players. Its categories list local shared/split-screen and Remote Play Together, not native online PvP in this snapshot.
Volley Pals advertises up to four local players with AI options, for USD $4.99 in the US store. VolleySmash is free on Windows and advertises up to six local players. These are store claims, not sessions tested here. just volleyball's own local play remains unconfirmed in practice; see the multiplayer page.
First person, and the date
Volleyborne: Unbound Horizons was USD $7.99 in the US store and lists Windows, Mac, Linux, online PvP, and online co-op. Its description is first-person, but the retained API does not specify a player limit. We do not fill that gap with a guessed 6v6 claim or assume it supports couch play.
Remote Play Together is listed for Volley Pals and The Spike Cross; it shares a local session remotely, rather than establishing native online matchmaking. An omitted Steam category is a limit of this snapshot, not proof a feature can never exist. Recheck current modes and regional prices on each store page; just volleyball's price is still unannounced in the checked sources.

Questions people ask
What should I play until 4 November?
If you want a story-led anime volleyball game, The Spike Cross is free on Steam. If you want a local party, Volley Pals. If you want first person, Volleyborne. If you want split screen, VolleySmash.
Are these the same as just volleyball?
No. None of them is temkosoft’s cursor-aim 6v6 game. The table is a shopping list, not a clone list.
Will these prices stay?
These are US store snapshots in USD from 27 October 2026, not worldwide prices. Sales and regional pricing vary. Check your Steam store before paying.
Does Remote Play Together mean native online multiplayer?
No. It is Steam remote sharing of a local session, not the same category as native online PvP or co-op. The table distinguishes those flags and does not treat an omitted category as proof a feature is impossible.
